The local Medical Team
The Stockholm platform employs directly a senior doctor and 2 experienced nurses who constantly monitor cases and support the Co-ordinators on the platform. They are also involved with the planning of repatriations and personally take part in many of these.

Annual Insurance
Our “Annual Business Travel Insurance”, covers employees who are travelling on business and those that are based abroad.
Summary of cover
Medical Expenses
In the event of an illness or an accident during a business trip, the insurance will cover medical expenses for hospitalisation and travel related to the incident, as well as repatriation home if required. If a doctor judges the person’s condition to be life threatening, the insurance will also cover reasonable travel and living costs for up to two relatives from Scandinavia to stay with the patient
Return journey due to an emergency
Reasonable additional expenses will be covered to return home early, in the event of a death or a life threatening illness to a close relative in Scandinavia. There is also cover in the event of severe damage to the insured’s main residence in Scandinavia in the case of fire or another unforeseen act.
Substitute Travel
A substitute trip may be authorised, in lieu of the repayment of travel expenses, should a trip be interrupted or cancelled.
Crisis Therapy
Treatment by a registered psychologist is covered in the event of the insured being subjected to an acute mental crisis during a business trip.
Compensation in the event of being kidnapped
Compensation will be paid for the physical and mental suffering, in the event of being kidnapped during a business trip,
Baggage delay
Reasonable costs will be reimbursed for any necessary purchases due to delayed delivery of baggage, when supported by original receipts.
Delay of public transport
Necessary and reasonable costs after a delay of public transport for more than 4 hours will be paid.
Start of journey protection
If the insured is late and misses the outbound or return trip due to circumstances beyond their control, then extra costs may be covered to continue the intended trip.
Liability protection
The insured is covered for any injury, accidentally caused by them, to a third party, where they face a financial liability for this injury, which is non-business related.
Legal protection
The insured is covered for legal protection, for any dispute which is directly related to the business trip that is covered by the insurance, and is non-business related.
Assault protection
Compensation will be paid in the event of a physical injury resulting from an assault or other intentional physical violence. Compensation will be in line with “The Swedish Liability for Damages Act” (1972, Reference chapters 1 and 5).
Excess Protection
We will reimburse any excess payable under the household insurance or car insurance, in the event of a claim during the period of the business trip, where unforeseeable damage has occurred leaving the main residence uninhabitable.
Disability allowance and death benefit
A death benefit or disability allowance will be paid as a result of an accident occurring during the insured’s trip, which leads to their disability or death.
Holiday protection
The insurance provides cover for up to 5 days holiday when directly linked to the business trip.
Extra options and extensions to covers
Cancellation cover
This covers the costs that arise when pre-booked tickets are cancelled due to the illness, accident or death of the insured or a close relative.
Employees based abroad
We offer a complete and competitive package for employees based abroad, which can be extended to cover family members who are living abroad with the insured. The insured’s employer must take out this insurance
This insurance has the same cover as the standard “Business Travel Insurance”, plus extra protection for pregnancy, which is not normally covered under medical expenses.
